Direct questions to Pacfans, What will your opinion of Floyd be if he beats Mosley?

Will it change or will it remain the same?
Will it go higher or lower?
Will you appreciate more realistically the threat Floyd poses to Pacquiao or are you solid on Pacquiao no matter what?
Will Floyd give Pacquiao any trouble?
Will he give Pacquiao any legacy? (Think this one very well and the one before so you don't contradict yourself saying "easy fight, big legacy")
And IF Mosley wins:
What will be your reaction to a Mosley-Pacquiao fight?
Will you start attacking Shane if he's pitted against Manny?
Will Shane give Pacquiao any trouble?
Will he give Pacquiao any legacy? (Think this one very well and the one before so you don't contradict yourself saying "easy fight, big legacy")

I am not a Pac fan but I have been around this forum long enough to tell you what they (except Jon, who is a real class act) will say. They will not like Floyd because they will still hold grudges because of what Floyd Sr. said about PEDs in the Philippines. They will say Floyd used the PEDs debate to duck Manny who (in their minds) was a bigger threat that Mosley (the guy Manny would not fight). They will say Mosley was too old and Floyd took advantage of an aging opponent (obviously forgetting what Manny did to Oscar). They will say if he wins a decision that he "never" knocks anyone out (though he has 25 KOs).

If Mosley wins...for a week they will dance in the streets. They will say all of Floyd's previous 40 wins were nothing. They will say he doesn't deserve to fight Manny. They will praise Shane for 3 minutes until he calls out Manny after the bout.

Win or lose, my opinion of Floyd will not change, he was one of the best of his era. Part of me expects Shane to beat Floyd, but in truth I would like to see an unbeaten Floyd Mayweather face Manny Pacquiao sometime in the future, so I have mixed feelings about the Mayweather.Mosley fight. I think both Shane and Floyd would be serious threats to Manny and obviously a win over either will add to the luster of Pacquiao'a already hall of fame career. Mosley has a very good chance of beating Floyd, the "IF" shouldn't be capitalized it's not that big of an upset, Shane is as big a star as Floyd, he just took on bigger guys during his career. A Mosley/Pacquiao fight won't be as big a draw, and Shane will give Manny every bit as much trouble as Floyd, in fact I think Mosley would be a tougher fight than Floyd physically for Manny. I can't see Floyd trying very hard to KO either Manny or Shane but both Manny and Shane could very well KO Floyd. None of the three are easy, Floyd, Manny or Shane could on any given day beat the other.

I am a boxing fan and more of a Mosley fan. But if i were to choose between pac and may, i am more of a pac fan. Floyd is expected to win by points as he always does. Nothing changes. It will go higher a bit if he knocks out Mosley. Why a bit? Mosley is turning 40. These two are talented and their styles are different wherein it can pose a threat to either. They have both the ability to adjust in any situation they are presented. (Pacquiao acquired it only when he was with roach. May is shear talent probably b/c his father is also a boxer). It's gonna be trouble on either way.

As for legacy, pacquiao Legacy IMHO is already cemented. Beating bigger guys in a convincing manner became a part of his legacy.

Mosley-Pac fight will be exciting and explosive... I will be more of a Mosley fan than a Pac fan if they will fight. Shane is bigger and more powerful in welterweight then Pac so it's BIG TROUBLE.. Same... Legacy for fighting big guys.....Means only one thing.. he's got balls to fight bigger guys..

Will it change or will it remain the same?

I expect that he should win this one. If he wins it impressively, then of course all due credit goes to him. But if its by a boring decision then it will pretty much remain the same. That he is a skilled fighter who refuses to take risks

Will it go higher or lower?

In terms of what? Respect? Like I said, depends on how he wins it.

Will you appreciate more realistically the threat Floyd poses to Pacquiao or are you solid on Pacquiao no matter what?

We always had appreciated Floyd as a good challenge for Mannys skills. Why else would we want to fight him? None of us were really thrilled with the Clottey fight because it was hard to imagine Manny losing to that fight.

Will Floyd give Pacquiao any trouble?

Of course!

Will he give Pacquiao any legacy? (Think this one very well and the one before so you don't contradict yourself saying "easy fight, big legacy")

Pacquiao has already solidified his status among the all time greats in his last 5 fights. He is the only boxer to date who has won world titles in 7-divisions. He is one of the best fighters this era has seen. Him fighting Mayweather is just a bonus. He could loose that fight, all his belts, all his money, and even his life but he will never lose his legacy. A lot of people try to dismiss his accomplishment as to being over rated etc. If its so easy, then how come no fighter today can achieve what he has? You are already considered a legend if you can have world titles in 3 different divisions. Manny had 7.

And IF Mosley wins:

What will be your reaction to a Mosley-Pacquiao fight?

It will make more sense of a fight now, that Floyd Vs Manny

Will you start attacking Shane if he's pitted against Manny?

Why would we attack Shane? We never really attacked those who are pitted against manny. In fact, a lot of pac fans also became fans of Miguel Cotto and Erik Morales. Mind you, Erik Morales is so loved in the Philippines, that he actually did several TV commercials there.

Will Shane give Pacquiao any trouble?

In terms of size, sure!

Will he give Pacquiao any legacy? (Think this one very well and the one before so you don't contradict yourself saying "easy fight, big legacy")

Same answer as the above. Him fighting Mosely is just a bonus.

Regarding PBF Jr. the fighter, it will change and he will get my nod for beating a legit welterweight. As a person, he's still a criminal.

I've always said that PBF Jr.'s defense will pose problems for Pacquiao but all Pacquiao need to do is land a KO punch and down PBF Jr will go. In previous forums, I remember saying he has 40% chance of beating Pacquiao.

With or without PBF Jr., Pacquiao already has a legacy. Even if he loses to PBF Jr., his 7 titles in 7 weight divisions will be tough to beat. Also being Fighter of the Decade is already a legacy nobody can take away from him.

If Mosley wins, I think a match-up with Pacquiao would be more interesting because both are willing to engage and give it their all.

I only attack those racist criminals who insult the Filipino people as a whole. And only PBF Jr and family do that. From the way Sean G is talking, I'm getting the impression that only the mighty US of A has the right to be patriotic and it's not nice for Filipinos to defend their honor as a nation. It was Jr not Sr who said "the Phils has the best PEDs" (ruggedman interview). And it was Uncle Roger who concocted the A side Meth theory.

Yes, Shane will give Pacquiao trouble because he's a naturally bigger fighter who has campaigned in the middleweight division.

With or without Mosley, Pacquiao's place in boxing history is already made.

If he beats Mosley in an entertaining and exciting fashion, I'll give him the props he deserves.

If he beats Mosley in a boring, jab, pock shot, run away fashion, I'll still give him props, but my opinion of him as being a boring fighter will be even stronger.

If he loses to Mosley, I'll still give him credit, but it'll also reinforce why he's been ducking the best in his division for so long.

I can't deny Flomo Jr. as a boxer. He's is one of the best. But as a person and how he conducts himself in person, in the media, etc.....he's still a piece of $hit.

worliturd,

wtf are you talkin about?....your much awaited may1 fight is a fixed fight....

mosley's age is taking it's stall, that's why he took PEDs to aid his fights,

w/o it, he'd rather earn big than take the hard way for a win that is not even certain

mayweather's brittle hand aint getting any better...he'd rather make an X-deal w/ mosley than feel the pain, besides, he needs his virgin @$$ intact so pac will even consider fighting him

just an opinion, dude

I am a Pac fan, and my opinion of Money will not change.

Money is the best and cleanest fighter.

My opinion of Pac will not change.

Pac, do not get near any random blood and urine tests, because you cannot pass.
