IRRITATED FLOYD MAYWEATHER SPURNS THE MEDIA AND HBO?

"There’s no denying that Floyd Mayweather is not pleased with the media or the network for which he fights for, HBO. Mayweather, who was in St. Louis this weekend attending Don King’s “Gateway to Greatness” card, could be seen sitting ringside with the Hall of Fame promoter during Devon Alexander’s successful title defense against Andriy Kotelnik. Naturally, HBO cameras spotted the undefeated fighter and when they showed his smiling face on the jumbotron, he received a warm reception from the fans in attendance at the Scottrade Center. Unfortunately for HBO, however, he was not in the mood for talking as HBO commentator Bob Papa revealed that Mayweather turned down their request for an interview.

It wouldn’t be the only time that night that Mayweather spurned an opportunity to speak to the media. Immediately after the fights, as Mayweather was swiftly exiting the arena, Bill Emes of Boxingscene.com ran into him and just happened to have his camera rolling. Mayweather, who either recognized Emes as a member of the media or was simply feeling camera-shy, quickly walked in the opposite direction with his entourage in tow as he remarked, “Nah, no cameras, man. Move back.” A determined Emes would follow briefly before Mayweather, looking extremely irritated, turned around and shouted, “Man, please, I asked you nicely! Move back please!” Of course, Emes complied and Mayweather continued on his way.

It’s understandable that Mayweather may have wanted to avoid answering more questions regarding a fight with Manny Pacquiao, a fight that doesn’t appear to be happening any time soon, but still, when he continues to update his Twitter page with tweets about him and Don King hanging together, as well as images of a $100,000,000 promotional agreement, he’s only bringing the attention upon himself. If he doesn’t want the media or HBO to ask him the questions that everyone is wondering, perhaps he should quit begging for the attention via Twitter."

what happened to little floydie? doesn't he want to answer pacquiao calling him out? ran out of stories that non-flomos know are just a bunch of lies?

the guy who used to talk so much trash is now officially out of words and is now only talking with the use of twitter LMAO!

What you think he would do and how could he answer some questions about his silence, he showed disrespect on some promoters, then what would he show to those commentators, he can't deny the facts that by not signing the contracts, all expectation towards him got lost, respects has gone because of such attitudes arising from him.

His selfishness already seen towards him, the way he treated some people now is the behavior of cowardliness, his thoughts are getting blurred and road are getting short, what he did is just a proof that he is true runner.

Running to fight Manny and running to tell the truth.

Good luck

Great question, and I can't wait to view the video. I think it is clear why Floyd is REALLY avoiding the media. What he lead everyone to believe that he wanted to take on the best fighters out there and then ended up fighting two big names, one signicantly smaller, and one significantly over his prime. Now, the public expects him put up or shut up and he has decided to shut up. People are sick of this and are wanting to call him out, so now, he wants to run from anyone who is going to answer him tough questions. He is running away from difficult questions just like he is running away from difficult fights. This seems to be a pretty big pattern. Floyd Mayweather has not impressed me since 2003. Hopefully if he goes broke, then he will take a big fight next year!

Are you listening to what you all have been asserting? right here we've a family contributors conversing against Pacquiao and the entire bunch of Pactards are claiming that the Mays are slandering the entire Filipino u . s . which i stumble on isn't in trouble-free terms way way out of share if not absurd. Am a Pinoy and that i don't felt insulted or perhaps alluded to in those tirades of the Mays against the Pacquiao camp. The Filipino activities media unhappy to declare has already thrown all its objectivity out of the window just to " look after" Pacquiao and the "honor" of the Filipinos. and you may elect Floyd to settle for an interview with them? For each and all the insults hurled via the Pactards alongside with those interior the media, especially Pacman;s homestead studio, against the Mays and at many circumstances against the black people ( being thugs, uneducated, drug consumers, and so on..), not one derogatory assertion has come out of the mainstream American media, alongside with those run via Afro-people, against Pacquiao. shame on us, self-righteous Pinoys!

Mayweather I think is not answering questions is to keep the negotiations with him and pacquiao under wraps that would make more since. since the media screw up the fight the first time

The best thing he can do is to avoid camera and questions..Questions to fight the world's feared fighter could be tough for someone who's always bragging as the best fighter.
