Question:
A very general and naive question for every single boxing fan of the forum!?

It seems to be a naive question that a kind would ask, but this is how you learn how people think of things in life and i wanna see how the average boxing fan is thinking in here!

We take one great welterweight boxer, anyone from Cotto-Pac or Floyd
We take a great middleweight or super middleweight anyone from Abraham-Sturm and Paul Williams it does not matter
Ok so far so good,so we also take a Navy Seal Commando of strike force team ummm 2 or 3 let's say (we call them OAP in Greece dunno in USA) which specializes in unarmed combat fight, when they get orders to execute a mission and neutralize the target without using a gun or knife , so there will be no blood and possible DNA evidence that the person ever existed,in case they want for national security reasons to make the body disappear for ever!

The Navy Seal commando is an elite one as well, with 15 years experience, many missions accomplished and lot of war zones in his belt let's say ummmmmm 5'11-6'0 tall around 170-185 lbs!

Fight of the commando vs the elite welterweight or the elite middleweight will be unarmed, freestyle of course ,no guns and knives, naked hands vs naked hands,a freestyle street fight for the survive!

So my question is simple,do you think the boxer will win and leave the room safe and everything , only because he is an elite boxer?
I expect for some great answers, really your opinions matter on this one:)

the Navy Seals will never underestimate the punching power of the boxers and I think they are trained to neutralized the strenghts of their enemies through their own strenghts.

The Navy Seals are trained to be killers, they will fight them like there is a war. They are trained to fight in life and death situations. The Navy Seals will win no doubt!

Will the fight be in a boxing ring or on the street. The navy seal's main weapons are speed, stealth and surprise. In a ring the boxer would eliminate both those advantages and if the Navy Seal was a good boxer then he wouldn't be in the navy but earning millions of dollars in the ring.In the ring i would go for the boxer ,say Sugar Ray Leonard. On the street it would be different and not so interesting because of the extra space and i think it would be a draw as the police break up the fight because the neighbours have complained about the noise.EDIT---This man had a few thousand of that type of fight and only lost once and that was to Cancer

Outside of the ring, the Seal would win.

Inside of the ring, the boxer would win.

They would each win in the environment they are used to training in/for.

One of my younger brother's best friends is a Navy Seal, and a few years back, we got a chance to workout together and even got a sparring session in there. While his cardio shape and determination were amazing, there wasn't anything special about his hands, and I pretty much had my way with him.

Will the boxer see the commando? will he hear him?plus will he have a chance to turn? A poke to the back and your back is broken you are pretty much dead or lost without seeing, hearing or saying or doing something.

I think that the Seal would win for sure.

Both are experts in their respective fields, but the boxer's field has restrictions, limits.

The Seal is trained to do whatever it takes to win, and that is exactly what he will do: win.

the navy guy wins

first, they are trained to kill, not to just fight.

and second, boxers are limited to fight with their hands. sure, pacquaio can kick. cotto can do a headbutt, but that is nothing compared to full body combat training received by a military man.

Manny has only two fists, if he has 10 hands I bet he'll gonna fight all those fighters. Maybe he has one or two more fights left before he retire. No Mayweather, I think this is his last fight.
