best pound for pound is Floyd Mayweather BUT best pound for pound to watch is a toss up between Manny Pacquiou for his awesome offense and Marcus Antonio Barrera specifically for his 3 wars with Erik Morales. I would have said Arturo Ghatti before he changed his style. His wars with Mickey Ward were amazing. A journeyman Emmanuel Burton had some wars with Ward and Ghatti as well I forget what he changed his last name to recently though.

Tie:

Joe Calzaghe and James Toney

2nd choice: Chris Byrd

How can anyone say Hatton when the Manchester Midget was beaten like a bass drum last week. And I still think Hatton is better than Mayweather.

Brett you're a strange dog if you really think Hatton accomplished anything last week. He exposed himself as a weak little puppy who will not dominate anybody in the WW division. He wouldn't even beat ZJ. But, I have to give you credit for the trainer thing and for posting that Marciano is better than Clay (I refuse to use his phony, disrespectful-to-our-troops Muslim name). I saw Marciano BEAT Cassius Clay when I was a kid (I saw it in a movie theatre of all things).

Calzaghe & Mayweather

Calzaghe in particular he has been champion for 10 years and took Lacy to school in his last fight.

He has the speed of a Welterweight and has decent punching power at his own weight.

Mayweather just looks a million dollars everytime he fights and I cant see even De Le Hoya beating him

PBF, no question. for his weight class he has unbridled speed, strength, defense, and toughness.

james toney is probably the WORST pound-4-pound fighter in the world, because if anyone was his weight and was all muscle instead of the flabby disgrace that he is, he would be unstoppable instead of the joke that toney is.

Haton is a tough kid, love his style. he don't quite. pretty boy is exciting. Would be a big money maker when they fight. i would have to say, looking at opponents, mayweather is pound for pound.
