The supposed March 13 megafight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. did not push through. Hence, Pacquiao ended up fighting Joshua Clottey on the said date. Meanwhile, Mayweather will be fighting Shane Mosley on May 2. Who are you picking? Who do you think will win and why?

I see Mayweather winning a Close but Unanimous Decision. Floyd's skills, defense, hand speed, and accuracy makes him hard to beat. Floyd is a master boxer who will dictate the tempo and the exchanges in this fight. He will keep distance enough to jab and counter and win rounds. Shane looked amazing in his last fight (vs. Margarito) but that opponent stands in front of you plodding forward and is there to hit. Floyd won't be there. Shane has more power but it wont matter because he will never land anything flush on Mayweather because of his amazing defense. So taking away the KO factor and Shane has to out box Floyd (imagine that). Shane had trouble being outboxed in spots by Cotto...what can he possibly do with Floyd's boxing skills.Shane is familiar with defeat and he will lose his 6th fight. Floyd will box and counter as Vernon Forrest did.

I'd like Mosley to win if only to end Mayweather's winning streak, but given Mosley's track record, I find it less impressive compared to Mayweather's.
