I respect both boxers and think they are both amazing boxers but I'm not really a big fan of either guy. I just wanted to ask the hardcore fans of both fighters this question.....

What will you do if your guy looses? Will you give the other guy the credit he deserves for winning the fight and take the defeat like a man?

andrew,

Of course Manny will all the credit he deserves and more if he is the first to beat Floyd mayweather Jr. Floyd will not get his due credit for beating Pacquiao. They will say Manny was smaller he is the big guy he should have won. His defense will be called running. If Floyd doesnt knock Manny out they will say he was boring and did not stand and trade. I am telling you, just from the tone of some of these answers you hear how they accuse Floyd of cheating which he has never done. It coming in 2 pound over a catchweight is cheating ...fight for a 147 title at a catchweight of 144 is cheating. It's nonsense. Floyd is in a lose lose...they will not give him his credit for the win...watch!

I've already called Floyd the best pure boxer in the game and a prodigy, but I also question his motivation and opponent selection which is fair to me. Listen to his interviews, he talks like he is so much better then everybody that there is not even a worthy guy out there to face him, then he signs a deal to fight a lightweight(Marquez). He don't want to fight Shane, but he will fight Manny. Between me and you, why is this so? Because he feels Shane is the bigger threat So instead of fighting the guy who he actually sees as more dangerous he now wants to fight Pacquiao because you know he thinks Manny is too small. I just hope Manny goes out there and gives him a fight to remember.

I would take my hat off to either man for having the skill and stamina to put on an amazing show regardless of the outcome. I am a Pacqiao fan he has shown himself to be a true warrior in the great sport of boxing and even if he lost a fight it does not change the memories he will leave behind long after he has retired his gloves.Respect them for there sport and entertainment they give to us and leave us with. Not for who beat who.

Prime example Muhammad Ali...Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr. Won some lost some still one of the best and most memorable Champs of all time.

Unless the winner played fair and square, no honor is ever given to one.

I am a Pacquiao fan myself. Eversince, Manny has proven his humility and himself in clean fights. If Mayweather wouldn't resort to cheating or any other ways to ensure his victory, then I'd say he's a better man. Until then, Manny will be my choice of victor.

I'm a Mayweather fan, and if he loses (which I can't see happening), I will be gutted for him, cuz I really want him to win and maintain his unbeaten record. But I of course I'd give respect to Pacman. I always do give credit to winning fighters, providing he won the fight fairly (i.e. didn't get a dodgy decision win, or cheated or whatever), and he boxed well.

of course no doubt about that man... if Floyd beat Pacman... I will give him all the credit but I already how the fight gonna be like.

Floyd with run and punch like a deer the whole night and Pacman will hunt him down like a freakin hungry tiger and finally the tiger will catch him and break his neck and eat him. I will bet at least 5 thousand dollar on this fight. There goes my S2000 turbo upgrade.

I'm a pacquiao fan, obviously, but I would really much like to just enjoy the fight without hating the other guy. I just wish Mayweather makes it a little bit easier for people to like him.

I will give credit to Mayweather if he won with out penalty like he did in Marquez he exceeded 4 pounds and pay 600k dollars. If he can win the fight fairly he deserves credit and fight like a champion not running around waiting for score.
