ali has the speed, boxing ability, and style to cause tyson far too many problems. Tyson is one of the truly overrated boxers in the history of the sport. His record is a bit inflated and when he fought the best of his generation (albeit not necesairly in any one of their primes) he was not successful. I dont think tyson even at the height of his ability would have been able to lace up ali's shoes as a boxer. Ali with the jab should be able to maintain distance, and ali could take the type of punch that tyson would have thrown. Also much of tyson's advantage as others have noted, was a lot of guys just froze as soon as they entered the ring with him. That probably would not happen with ali as he faced contiually much better opposition. Tyson showed problems fighting taller guys who had a good jab, and this is exactly what ali possess over him. Yes tyson would have a punchers chance, but i think as was often the case, if tyson does not knock you out early, he gets frusterated, and ali should be able to stop him rather easily in the mid to later rounds.

This is 1 of those matches that would have 2be a trilogy, bcuz no one fighter will always come out victorious.
I dont care what no one says, Tyson would have whipped Fraziers butt. People compare them, but Tyson had more of an arsenal! Even tho Joe gave Ali a hard time, styles make fights, and Ali would have been smarter, as did Holyfield, in how 2do a better job in fighting Tyson than most of his foes.
However, even tho Ali didnt get hit much, he still got hit, and if Frazier was able 2catch him and knock him down with the left hook, it means Tyson is sure 2do the same. The only difference is Tyson would have finished him!

Mohammad Ali Khan would do what Buster Douglas did to Tyson-offer resistance and jab-hard. Even Tyson in his prime would have had a serious issue with someone who would not let him get inside and throw granite.
The only way Tyson wins the fight is if he catches angles on Ali early and surprises him with a hook...but Ali was such a great mover in his prime. Great debated question, but the only great heavyweight Tyson would have a great fight with would have been Marciano...but Rocky has a slight edge in that one too.

This would of been the ultimate Clash of The Titans, but Ali would of won this one but only just.Ali would be the more skillful fighter while Tyson would go out to outpunch Ali.Tyson would be jaded by the 10/11th round where Ali would of finished him off. Both fantastic fighters in their time and a credit to America.
Mike Tyson should never of gone to prison for Rape.

No question about it - Ali. His height and his grab-and-hold style would have negated most of Tyson's power. Plus, Ali had no fear of anyone, which was Tyson's greatest asset in his early fights. Now, Tyson might have scored a knockout with one lucky punch, but I'd bet everything I owned or could borrow on Ali.

Ali would start whooping on Tyson, and then Tyson would bite Ali's ear off. Then the whole fight would be canceled and everyone who bought Pay per view would be angry at their $50 for five minutes fight.

I would soooo like to say Ali, but I feel it would be Tyson. In his prime he was an absolute animal.

In all practicality, Ali for his hieght & speed. Deep down I feel it should be Tyson. He would just finish Ali by the 5th round.
Yeah, it's a pity he had to go to jail!!!!!!

Ali. Even though Tyson is a nut, Ali is a champ no matter who he is fighting.

ali man. Ali was to fast. yeah mike is bigger, but ali could take apunch and was to quick for you. Lokk and the rumble in the jungle, Ali vs. Geaorge Foreman. Geoarge was Huge and packed the hardest punch in boxing during that time. But Ali was fast and could take a punch. Eventually Geaorge got tired and ali knocked him out.

It's hard to compare ,they both are/were the best boxer in history, but if I have to choose,Ali would be the winner, cause he's bigger, taller, faster.
