Mayweather vs. Mosley fixed or not to be fixed?

I believe this fight was 110% fixed! Floyd Mayweather is a brilliant strategic marketer who knows exactly how to raise capital for a fight. Don’t be mistaken here, it was Mosley who needed this fight more than Mayweather. Shane's pushing 40, just went through an expensive divorce not to mention his career has been forever tainted for admitted steroid use. Mayweather profited 22.5 million dollars for this fight which would of never happened if he went straight for Pacquaio. The sure aftermath of the Mosley vs. Mayweather will be more money for Mayweather to fight pac-man. Is there anyone out there thats with me on this?

I KNEW IT!!! I KNEW IT WAS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE SOME BUTT HURT PACQUIAO FANBOY WOULD CALL "FIX"! Seriously man? ok first off, it went 12 rounds, if it were a fix they would've ended it MUCH sooner to prevent either boxer from getting hurt. Secondly, if it WERE a fix, I would think that Mayweather would be the one to take a dive due to the rematch clause (actually, a few Pactards b4 the fight were "predicting" that Floyd would take a dive for a rematch), rematch = more easy money. Not to mention all of the HARD shots landed on both fighters for 12 rounds straight...c'mon, use your noggin.



Mayweather beat Shane, fair and square. Why can't some of you haters just accept that?

You are 110% right about a fix, How do you hurt someone in the second round of the fight and not come after them aggressively in the third round. Watch the Mosley and Margareta fight, Shane was not scared to take a hit from a bigger fighter but was weary of Mayweather's power...gimme a break and let's not forget Mosley is a partner in Golden Boy who will more than likely put on the Mayweather / Pacquaio fight. CLEARLY CLEARLY FIXED AND OBVIOUS TO ANYONE WHO HAS WATCHED ALL OF MOSLEY AND MAYWEATHER'S PREVIOUS FIGHTS. On any other day, there is no chance in hell that mosley would have stopped throwing ANYHING after those 2 amazing rounds. He's been paid off and has lost all credibility, i'm sure he intends on getting a cut of may-pac fight thru golden boy too. Mosley has been a seasoned professional and multiple champion warrior since day 1 till now, people are ignorant if they think he got tired after the 2nd round, didn't train or is too old. Laughable. He's a professional athlete. He was absolutely devastating against margarito. He made himself a sitting duck for the last 10 rounds and in the post-fight interview didn't even seem to bothered about losing, instead he promoted the may-pac fight, unbelievable. He was coming up with lame scripted excuses like ' i was tight' and was exposed by Larry Merchant on this point. What makes it worse is that he's appeared to want this fight for so many years over anything, and sickening that he's fallen for corruption and money. Great boxer, very very bad actor. The way he was feigning this jittery crackhead like stance and lowering his guard was laughable, even the punches he WAS throwing round 3 onwards had NO power. He's lost massive respect and obviously discredited floyds performance too. You wanna see real boxing and heart watch mikkel kesslers fight against carl froch, a genuine WAR, not this sham of a fight.



A lot of people knew this was fixed as soon as it was arranged, as someone said earlier, oscar and his boys are laughing all the way to the bank. At least true knowledgable boxing fans know this though.

YES, FIXED. After Mosley hurt Mayweather in the 2nd round, he proceeded to throw a total of 14 punches in the next two rounds!! This is a guy who outworks everyone he fights. And I don't buy for a moment that he tired himself out or "over-trained" for the fight, as the commentators tried to say. Nor do I buy that Mayweather just adjusted better than Mosley. That whole fight was a farce.

1.Why the WBA belt of MOsley is not on the line?

Answer:If it is,Mosely will not be fighting like that coz, once he's beat up it will be hard for him to have another fight.



2.Why does Mosely don't use the CLETO REYES gloves?

Answer:Of course,coz he's doesn't there to hit hard Mayweather.



3. Why MOsely didn't go for the kill when mayweather received a power right hook from him in SECOND round?

This was obviously fixed since the moment Mosley and Golden Boy Productions approached Mayweather after the Marquez fight.. the way they were touching gloves, laughing and giggling throughout the entire fight shows that there was never any animosity between them as Mosley just managed to secure himself another paycheck before he is forced to retirement, and Floyd "Money" Mayweather has managed to dodge Pacquiao while securing a big payday for this fight.. Mayweather claims he doesn't watch a lot of tape on opponents, yet he so eagerly claims Pacquiao uses banned performance enhancers, such a lying SOB...

DAMN right this fight was fixed. I'll give to the people who don't agree that it was fixed the 2nd round was pretty intense, but let's look back @ HBO's 24/7 series leading up to the fight. In the 3rd episode Floyd Mayweather SR. was asked how he thought the fight would play out. He calls out with almost dead on accuracy that Shane would fight "jittery" and made hand motions almost dead-on to the bullcrap mosely was doing from RD 3 on. In the post fight interview Shane said he was fighting tight and abandoned the jab that dominated Mayweather in Rd's 1&2 because he was looking for "1 big shot to knock him out". I agree with Howard Lettermans statement that after 18 yrs as a pro it's hard to believe that all of a sudden you start fighting tight? PLEASE!! He knew he stood to make alot more $$$ on Pacquiao v. Mayweather as a partner in Golden Boy than he would've made had he won the fight. Boxing needs to be reviewed from the top down and get rid of all the political and monetary BS if it ever wants to return to its hay-day when fighters actually fought.

watch the 2nd round again. after the 2nd right hand, mosely did not let his hands go. instead, he slows down and went for the body and allow mayweather to hold on. mosley was less aggressive right after that 2nd right hand that almost drop mayweather. mayweather was hurt, he was only able to keep both of his hands up and not fighting back. at that time, mosely did not unload and was not aggressive.
