The best case scenario for Brandon Rios in this fight is a KO loss, quick, clean and early. But more than likely he will be ground down for the full 12, or a suffer a doctors stoppage loss in the championship rounds due to his good beard. I really don't want to see this. I fear for Rios' health.

I have to disagree. Rios WILL stand his ground and trade and do some damage if he must. That's Rios. Well thats Ruslan's game too. It will be a battle of attrition where both gets beaten badly. We've seen the War in Cotai. It exposed how easily beatable Rios is. In hindsight, it proved how tough Bambam was. While i agree Ruslan would win, it wont be a walk in park for Provob.

Rios is a skilled, experienced boxer, he isn't going to stand there and trade punches with this guy... A clever boxer will have a fight plan... Rios can stick and move for 12 rounds, try to keep out of harms way...



The team that manage Rios will know the best plan for their man - They ain't going to opt for a slug fest - That's a certainty.

I believe Rios will win. Look at Prov's fight with Bradley how tired he got after going for the kill. Bradley hurt Ruslan bad to the body. Imagine how bad off he'll be against Rios. Rios loves to go to the body, and then kill the head. That's how he beat Alvarado the first time around. He'll hurt Rios and go for the kill and gas himself out. Rios is proving to have one of the best if not, the best chin of this era. I could see how you would think he would get murdered, but I don't see it at all.
