I used to love to watch Fernando Vargas fight, he was one of my favorite fighters, could have been an all-time great in my opinion but rushed his career. That fight vs Tito Trinidad was WAY to early in his career, he was never the same after that. Should have at least waited another 2 years, more experience under his belt before facing someone like TITO.

Fernando Vargas was one among my favorite fighters growing up too. MArquez is tough as they come but, hey its Vargas he's up against. i DONT think JMM can hurt Vargas. But it's out of question whether Fernando can hurt MArquez. Vargas was mean. There's no top boxer out there who would say they fought Vargas and beat him with relative ease. Tito got dropped, Oscar almost went out the ropes, Mosley had to fight him for 24 rounds. Man, these are the top fighters in their prime best that Vargas lost too. If JMM, fought these guys, he''ll get kayoed too. The Ferocious one fought Ike Quartey whose jab was too good I'd rank it up there with the very best and Vargas dispatched him easily. Ike simply never knew what hit him. I had the feeling, El DInamita implodes. This should be the first time we'll see Marquez get kayoed flat on his back. Too much difference in weight and power

Varges would have a 3 " height advantage, 3" reach advantage and approximately 20 pounds in weight advantage. Two different weight classes with Vargas fighting and winning in the light middleweight division.

JMM. Vargas is too careless that he'd end up like Pac in the 4th fight with JMM.
